Al-Aqsa Week- w/c 08/03/2021

The children decorated Masjid-al-Aqsa using Mosaic ART. They looked at the journey of Al Miraj as part of Al-Aqsa week. They also Created spiral Al-Miraj mobile for #AqsaWeek

The Night Journey – Ascension to the Heavens.

Today in Nursery, the children learnt about one of the most fantastic and brilliant events that happened to the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, when Allah S.W.T. took Him from Makkah to Jerusalem and afterwards to the Heavens in one night.
We discussed the importance of Masjid Al Aqsa and how all of the three Holy sites are important to a Muslim.

The children had a great time taking part in the wonderful activities set out.
Some children even demonstrated how they changed the direction of the qibla from Masjid Al Aqsa to Kaabah as they prayed Salah.
