How We Started

We have come a long way and achieved so much since we opened in 1998 when we started with 8 children attending nursery on a part time basis. In the early days we were based in an old temporary modular building but today we have over 200 children of 12 different nationalities and have moved to larger premises offering high quality education from 2 year olds in early years through to 11 year olds in our primary school.

At Paradise Primary School we treat every child as a unique individual entrusted (an amanat) to us by parents to give them the best possible start in life. As a school we take this responsibility very seriously and are dedicated to ensuring that we fulfil our obligation.

Paradise School

The school continues to go from strength to strength which is reflected in the high levels of attainment of our children. This is due to the commitment of the Governing Body, the hard work of our staff and the dedication of our Headteacher.

In 2013, the Governing Body launched Paradise School Trust (Charity Number 1155025) so that the school could make a positive difference and benefit all members of the community. One of our objectives is to promote learning for pleasure to people no longer in full time education through continued development of their capabilities and understanding of subjects of educational value. Our aspiration is for Paradise Primary School to be at the heart of the community it serves.

It hasn’t been easy and there have been many challenges along our journey but through the support of the community and most importantly by the grace of Allah, we continue ‘in the pursuit of excellence’.
