Autumn Walk 21/10/2021

Class 2 went on their first outing today and has an amazing time!
We visited the park to see what changes the season Autumn as bought with it.
Children noticed the trees 🌳🌲becoming bare as they begin to shed their leaves. 🍂🍁
Children described what they could hear as the leaves rustled under their feet, crunch crunch, crispy, crackling, were some of the words they were encouraged to use.
Children discussed the colours they could see as the leaves change from green to red, brown, orange and yellow.🥬🍃🍁🍂
They found leaves, conkers, sycamore seeds etc. and bought the Autumnal collection back to school to use for their activities.
