E-Safety

We would like to thank all parents who attended the compulsory Safeguarding / E-safety workshop held on the 18th, 19th & 20th of March 2014.

It is imperative that school-parent links are kept strong to ensure that the best outcomes are achieved for our children.

Overall feedback received from parents was very positive where many felt they had derived great benefit and had gained a good insight into E-safety.

We appreciate that many Parents may have faced inconvenience by having to attend a compulsory workshop. However, we deemed the matter of such importance because over the last few years, the school has increasingly recognised that a concerted and unified approach needed to be taken by both the school and Parents. Increasingly, the school is seeing the destructive and detrimental effects on children, when adults around them have failed to recognise or counteract the harmful effects of technology.
