  • Fundraising for Rohingya
To cultivate a deeper understanding of compassion and gratitude, children have been looking at people in our world who are less fortunate than us and how we have to be grateful for all the blessings we have been bestowed with. Children learnt about the plight of the men, women and children in Burma, and in order to reinforce the importance of empathising and being charitable, children were prompted to get involved in a fundraising project to sponsor a Rohingyan orphan through World Care Foundation. It was very heartening to see the fervour with which children, parents and staff came together to raise funds. An astonishing £887.64 was raised to sponsor not 1 but 2 orphan children!
